رگه‌های استعماری و امپریالیستی شاعر استعلاگرايی امریکا رالف والدو امرسون در ترجمۀ شعر حافظ
چکیده
این مقاله به بررسی رگه‌های استعماری و امپریالیستی بنیانگذار مکتب استعلاگرایی امریکا رالف والدو امرسون در ترجمه شعر حافظ می‌پردازد. مسئله اصلی تحقیق پیش رو این است که علت توجه امرسون به شعر حافظ چه بود و چرا امرسون مثنوی شمارة دو حافظ را ترجمه کرد؟ هدف مقاله این است که نشان دهد ترجمة امرسون از مثنوی شمارة دو دیوان حافظ با مفاهیم شرق‌گرایی سازگار است، یعنی اینکه وی در ترجمه شعر حافظ، غرب را برتر می‌پندارد و شرق را که حافظ نماینده آن است ابتر در نظر می‌گرفته است. روش تحقیق این مقاله توصیفی، تحلیلی و کتابخانه‌ای است و چهارچوب نظری مقاله بر مبنای نظریات شرقشناسانه ادوارد سعید قرار دارد. نتایج این مقاله نشان می‌دهد امرسون شعر حافظ را با توجه به معیارهای غربی خویش ترجمه و تحریف کرده است و شراب‌محور و همجنس‌گرا به خوانندۀ غربی معرفی کرده است.
