بررسی ترجمۀ عناصر فرهنگی در ادبیات کودک:: مطالعۀ موردی رمان چارلی و کارخانۀ شکلات‌سازی

چکیده

این تحقیق براساس راهبرد‌ها (جایگزینی و حفظ) و تکنیک‌های آیکسلا، ترجمۀ عناصر فرهنگی را در رمان «چارلی و کارخانه شکلات‌سازی» بررسی کرد. هدف پاسخ به این سؤال بود که آیا ترجیح بومی‌سازی و جایگزنی فرهنگی در ترجمۀ ادبیات کودک، در این بافت هم صادق است. بدین‌منظور 300 عنصر فرهنگی در رمان و معادل‌های آن‌ها در ترجمۀ جعفری جوزانی براساس دسته‌بندی نیومارک هدفمند شناسایی، اسامی خاص نیز طبق نظر آیکسلا جزء آنها گنجانده، و از این تعداد، 135 عنصر فرهنگی تصادفاً انتخاب و تحلیل شد. یافته‌ها نشان داد که در ترجمۀ‌ کل داده‌ها، به‌ترتیب تکنیکهای ترجمۀ زبانی، مترادف‎سازی و طبیعی‎سازی پرکاربرد بوده، اما شرح برون‌متنی، جهانی‌سازی مطلق به‌ندرت به‌کاررفته و تکرار استفاده نشده ‌بود. همچنین ترجمۀ زبانی، با بیشترین استفاده در فرهنگ مادی، پرکاربردترین تکنیک در اکثر دسته‌های عناصر فرهنگی بود و کمترین استفاده را تکنیکهای جهانی‌سازی مطلق و شرح برون‌متنی داشتتند. بدین ترتیب، مشخص شد که برخلاف باور رایج دربارۀ جایگزنی فرهنگی و بومی‌‌سازی در ترجمۀ ادبیات کودک، مترجم به راهبرد حفظ متمایل بوده و درصورت ضرورت و بسته به نوع عنصر فرهنگی، به راهبرد جایگزینی متوسّل شده است. نتایج این پژوهش می‌تواند به مترجمان کمک کند تا در ترجمۀ عناصر ‌فرهنگی ادبیات کودک، راهبرد‌ها و تکنیک‌های مناسب را انتخاب کنند.
