Ethics for Simultaneous Interpreters

Abstract

The main ambition of the present paper is two-fold; to pinpoint some pre-required professional ethics in terms of the qualities for the novice who decides to try his hand at simultaneous interpreting, mostly taken from the fully-fledged SI literature and, second, to offer some practical tips for the novice on how to break into this mode of interpreting.
