متغیرهای مؤثر بر اعتبار شغلی ترجمه
دیدگاه دانشجویان ایرانی رشتة مترجمی زبان انگلیسی
چکیده
این مطالعۀ کیفی اعتبار شغلی در ترجمه از دیدگاه دانشجویان ایران را بررسی می کند. این دانشجویان از طریق نمونهگیری طبقهای از 10 دانشگاه انتخاب شدهاند. در تجزیه وتحلیل موضوعی مشخص شد عواملی همچون دستمزد، دانش تخصصی و به رسمیت شناخته شدن عوامل اصلی افزایش اعتبار شغلی هستند، در حالی که دستمزد پایین، عدم حمایت نهادی، و ارزشگذاری اجتماعی پایین باعث کاهش اعتبار می شود. در بافت ایران، که زیرساختهای حرفهای محدود اما وجود چارچوبهایی برای دریافت گواهی صلاحیت ترجمه در میان ویژگی های آن هستند، مشخصه های منحصربه فردی در برداشت از اعتبار شغلی وجود دارد. شرکت کنندگان بر هویت ترجمه به عنوان یک مهارت و همچنین هنر فرهنگی تأکید داشته و نقش بی بدیل تخصص انسانی در میانجی گری زبانی و فرهنگی را برجسته کردند. یافتهها نشان میدهند که مداخلات ساختاری (به عنوان مثال، صدور گواهینامه تخصصی، کارزارهای آگاهی عمومی، و آموزش های هدفمند) میتوانند اعتبار شغلی این حرفه را ارتقا بخشند. این مطالعه به بحثهایی دربارۀ حرفهایسازی ترجمه کمک میکند، و پیشنهادهای عملی را برای طراحی برنامههای دانشگاهی و سیاستگذاری با هدف تقویت اعتبار حرفه ای مترجمان در میان سایر مشاغل درحال تحول ارائه میدهد.
